Ухвалення Закону “Про національну безпеку України” – це не тільки впорядкування військового права. Вітаю парламент і всіх українців із черговим кроком євроатлантичної інтеграції. Закон чітко називає набуття членства в НАТО та Євросоюзі серед принципів національної безпеки і оборони. Фракція “Народного фронту” дала 71 голос.
Ми вже зробили реальністю Зону вільної торгівлі, газову незалежність і безвіз. Наступний крок – План дій щодо членства в НАТО. Захід кревно зацікавлений надати нам постійні гарантії, прийняти Україну до євроатлантичного простору. Так Європа стане сильнішою.

Congratulations to the Parliament of Ukraine and to all compatriots on our further step towards the Euro-Atlantic integration.
The Law on the National Security clearly states that NATO&EU membership of Ukraine belong to the fundamentals of Ukraine’s national security and defense.
71 members of the People’s Front Faction gave their votes in favor of the Law.
We must be proud of many accomplishments, including Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, which establishes the deep and comprehensive free trade zone, the gas independence and the EU visa free regime.
The next step must be the NATO Membership Action Plan.
I believe the West should be interested to integrate Ukraine into the common Euro-Atlantic institutions and to provide with the security guarantees.
Given the current and future challenges, such a vision will only make Europe stronger.
